Chapter 101 The Dreamlike Tiger Exhibit

"Just wait \'til I catch you, that\'ll be the end of it!"

The other monkeys also burst into uproar, scurrying around on all fours to keep their distance and watch, the scene was total chaos!

"What are you doing, what are you doing! No fighting allowed!"

An animal keeper rushed out from the staff passage at this moment, wielding a wooden stick and struck the ground hard twice in front of the two monkeys, which finally separated them, leaving them still baring their teeth at a distance.

Wang Jinxuan had been watching with bated breath, and only when she saw the animal keeper forcibly stop the monkey fight did she breathe out in relief, "That scared me to death, those two monkeys were so vicious, thankfully the keeper was here."

Yuan Yu was unimpressed, "Hey, monkey fights are nothing, that\'s pretty normal."

Wang Jinxuan still had some doubts in her heart, were monkey fights always this fierce?

She tugged at Yuan Yu\'s sleeve, "Let\'s go, let\'s go, stop watching this."

Although Yuan Yu still wanted to see if the two monkeys would fight again, since his girlfriend had spoken, it was time to leave!

As they walked along the road, Wang Jinxuan asked, "What\'s the next animal? There\'s not even a map or anything."

Yuan Yu looked forward with anticipation, "Next up is the new tiger exhibit! I asked the keeper the last time I came."

After walking up a slope and passing a naturally landscaped fence with green trees planted in front of them, Wang Jinxuan widened her eyes in disbelief and exclaimed, "Wow, is this what you were talking about!"

This was the first section of the tiger exhibit\'s moat viewing area; with no railings or metal nets to obstruct the view, there was a waist-high, two-meter-wide thicket of dense bushes opposite a stretch of open, undulating greenery — a visually thrilling sight!

In front of the bushes was a conspicuous "Do Not Cross" warning sign, with a fence on the outer side and another hidden within, increasing the difficulty of climbing over and preventing any overly bold tourists from trying to squeeze through the bushes to jump down into the moat and enter the exhibit area.

If a visitor were to attempt climbing over the fence, surveillance operators would immediately spot them through the Intelligent Monitoring System, using loudspeakers to vocally deter them, and nearby keepers would arrive as quickly as possible!

The safety measures were in place; if someone still insisted on climbing over, then they were truly courting death.

About a dozen visitors had gathered here, leaning against the fence and looking over the exhibit area with utmost excitement!

The most conspicuous feature in the exhibit was a crescent-shaped pond that appeared inky green due to the surrounding vegetation, the surface shimmering with glistening ripples.

The gray-yellow rocks by the shore, the lush green grass, and the tall pines and cypress rising from the ground were all reflected in the pond water, swaying with the ripples, akin to linking a blurred dreamworld.

An Oriental magpie with blue wings and a white belly drank a couple of sips of water by the pond, flapped its wings, and flew away.

The hillside behind gradually rose, with soft and meandering lines; the hills, carpeted with green grass bathed in the bright Sunshine, created a stunningly beautiful vista, giving the impression that even the gentle breeze blowing through was vibrant and enthusiastic.

A majestic tiger with a coat as striking as brocade, sleek and robust in build, strolled leisurely through the trees and grass on the hillside and finally stopped beside a ten-meter-tall sequoia, casting sharp and spirited glances over its territory, its posture exuding a captivating regal and dominant aura.

Wang Jinxuan, thrilled, grabbed Yuan Yu\'s arm and shook it vigorously, "Ah, look, look! That tiger is so beautiful!"

Yuan Yu couldn\'t help but burst out with a swear, "So freaking cool! Really damn impressive!"

Last time he was here, he only saw the tiger in a cramped concrete enclosure, looking lazy and unwilling to move, but today it seemed much more impressive!

He shared a funny story with his girlfriend, "Let me tell you, when I was little, I read this comic about Wu Song fighting a tiger. I was so pumped up; I really wanted to ride on a tiger and give it a punch! To make me happy, my dad pretended to be a tiger.

I \'rode\' on him and hit him, and my dad acted like he was roaring and fell to the ground, saying, \'Ah, the tiger has been slain by you,\' and I was wickedly happy, running around the house."

Wang Jinxuan let out a giggle, "Still want to fight a tiger now?"

Yuan Yu raised his arm, chuckling, "Look at these puny arms and legs of mine, how could I fight? Maybe with a sliding tackle?"

The tourists were all so excited, snapping photos nonstop, discussing with each other!

"This big tiger, so handsome, so beautiful."

"It\'s my first time seeing a tiger without a fence, really thrilling!"

"Worthy of being called a beast, look at those muscles, wow..."

Some even waved their hands, shouting, "Hey, tiger! Look over here, look over here! Give us a smile!"

Jiaojiao glanced over, uninterested!

Casually descending from the hillside, she ambled to the edge of a shallow pool, lay down to drink a couple of sips of water, and then hopped in to start swimming.

Yuan Yu and Wang Jinxuan suggested, "Let\'s go to the front to have a look!"

"Sure!"

Each viewing spot offered a different scene! The impressions they left were also unique.

From this spot, one could better appreciate the overall beauty of the exhibit, while inside the exhibit hall, the glass wall was closest to the pool, allowing for close-up observation of the tiger\'s enchanting swimming performance.

The walls and ceiling inside the exhibit hall were a warm, layered yellow; the floor a refreshing white; while the vending machines, benches, and display stands were a deep black—arranged in such a way that the overall look resembled a tiger\'s fur, very in keeping with the style of the tiger exhibit.

In the center of the exhibit hall was a life-size bronze tiger statue, with a rich and subdued color, poised in a crouching position, muscles slightly bulging, tail coiled behind, draping slightly down along the base; its head was lifted, gaze calm, as though it was either just about to rest or had just finished resting and was about to get up and start moving again.

It had the majesty of a tiger without being frightening!

The muscle contours between the raised neck and back formed a saddle-like shape, perfect for someone to sit on.

The tourists, seeing the tiger\'s powerful stance, would undoubtedly want to take a picture with it. Yet, allowing visitors to touch a real tiger was absolutely forbidden, as it was not only dangerous but also detrimental to fostering the respect towards wild animals that visitors should have.

Therefore, this specific tiger statue was placed inside the exhibit hall for visitors to take photos with as a keepsake.

At this moment, there were already many tourists queuing by the statue, mainly children. A little boy in a red shirt was currently sitting happily on the tiger\'s back, his face beaming with innocent joy, while his parents below also happily snapped away without pause.

Seeing this, Wang Jinxuan immediately got excited and said to Yuan Yu, "I want a photo too! You take one for me later."

Yuan Yu teased, "Hey, come on, you\'re a grown-up. Still acting like a little kid. What\'s so fun about this thing?"
