Reborn as Mr.CEO's Fat Wife

Chapter 114: One Hundred Thousand Whys

Pullan, upon hearing this, suddenly stood up with staggering steps, guarding Brandon Piers. But the next moment, his mind paused. Kill him with one injection?

Kill who? The second young master?

Could it be that the second young master was not dead?

Thinking of this possibility, Pullan subconsciously shook his head. Didn’t he know the condition of the second young master? Being opened up and left here for hours, surviving would be a miracle.

Moreover, the second young master’s illness…

Jeffrey Foster was taken away. Who else could save the second young master!

“Your body’s poison hasn’t been completely cleared. Your physical strength is limited. Are you sure you want to waste it like this? And if you take one more step back, you’ll step on Brandon. I’m afraid he survived the surgery only to be squashed to death by you. That would be truly unjust.” Abigail Green felt like rolling her eyes.

She did a surgery that normally required three to four assistants all by herself. Her body was different now, and both her strength and spirit couldn’t keep up. Her surgical gown was soaked in sweat, and she felt dizzy and exhausted while being yelled at, making her very grumpy.

Pullan was stunned. The second young master was really alive? He subconsciously turned his head but felt weak in his legs. Remembering Abigail’s words, he feared falling on Brandon. He carefully moved aside before suddenly turning and kneeling down, reaching out cautiously to check Brandon’s breath.

“Not dead?” After the shock, Pullan’s eyes lit up.

He then looked at Abigail in disbelief. How could this be?

“Hoping for his death, I think you’re the one who leaked our whereabouts!” Abigail replied coldly.

“I didn’t!” Pullan’s face turned red. Only now did he notice that Brandon’s chest had been stitched up. The stitches were so beautiful, like a work of art.

Thinking of this, Pullan froze. That was the second young master’s chest. This kind of surgical stitching, art?

“If not, then move. He just finished surgery. There must not be any mistakes. Lay him flat. If you can’t lift him steadily and he falls, you’ll have to take your own life in apology.” Abigail lowered the empty surgical bed with the button.

Pullan had a head full of questions, but now was clearly not the time to ask, so he followed orders.

And because of Abigail’s earlier warning, he was extremely tense. He must not let the second young master get hurt.

“Let’s begin.” Seeing that Pullan understood the severity, Abigail gave the instructions.

She took charge of the head while Pullan managed the legs. The two carefully moved Brandon onto the surgical gurney.

It was just a lifting and placing action. Usually, Pullan could finish this in thirty seconds.

But now it was different. He was poisoned and not recovered. The second young master just had surgery and couldn’t suffer any mishaps. So he could only carry him gently, yet with all his strength.

Once Brandon was settled, even Abigail, whose body was unharmed, started sweating again.

Abigail could no longer support herself. She pushed Brandon from the bloody place and collapsed next to him, panting heavily.

After the high tension, her whole body ached with soreness.

Abigail couldn’t help but wonder, this body made her life so difficult, how did the original owner survive before childbirth?

No, in the end, she didn’t survive.

Thinking of this, Abigail let out a soft sigh, only to feel a pair of scorching eyes. She looked up and met Pullan’s tear-swollen small eyes staring at her like she was food. What did that mean?

She was fat, but that didn’t mean she would slice meat for him to eat.

“What exactly happened? How is the second young master now? Is the surgery complete? Who did it? When will he wake up? I…” Pullan was filled with whys, his voice louder due to excitement.

“Shut up!”
