Chapter 111 Chapter 110 The Empress's Coronation(13/?)
The ceremony was going to be held publicly. The food was prepared, and the soldiers had increased their patrols. The Creation Priests had completed their preparations for Morringan\'s blessing and approval ceremony.
Even Seth was happy to see this.
"Your Majesty, are you excited?" Adriana asked gently. Morringan smiled and nodded. She could feel that Adriana had warmed up to her.
"To be honest, no. I just feel calm," Morringan explained her emotions quietly. Adriana smiled. "You must have done this before, that\'s why you\'re used to it."
Although Morringan hadn\'t done this before, she believed Morgana had. There would be no harm in confirming it here.
"Yes," Morringan said. Adriana then finished the last touch-ups. Morringan stood up and took one last look at her dress in the mirror.
Morgana was wearing a long black dress; the fabric looked soft but heavy. The hem of the dress reached the floor.
The black dress had blue and gold details. Golden embroidery flowed from her shoulders, merging with the blue fabric from her chest to her waist. Golden patterns were elegantly scattered throughout the dress.
Her face was covered by a blue veil. Her long black hair was left loose, cascading down her back.

"Let\'s go," Morringan said calmly. The servants opened the door and made way for Morringan. As she passed by, everyone made room for her. Today, everyone was on holiday.
Everyone was dressed cleanly and well. Schools were closed, and people were in a festive mood. At least most of them were. There were still some who feared and disliked Morringan.
But the people of Berlen had gotten used to it and didn\'t cause trouble. After all, after so much cleaning, no one would make a sound.
"My Lady, you look beautiful today," Thomas said admiringly. He then opened the door to the carriage. Morringan accepted the compliment. "Thank you."
Morringan then got into the carriage. As they left the palace, people cheered excitedly on the sidewalks. Morringan didn\'t forget to wave at each one of them.
As time passed quickly, Morringan calmly observed the people. It felt pleasant to see the results of her actions. She had grown used to this feeling and, unlike in the Kingdom, she felt right at home here.
"Long live the Empire! Long live the Empire!"
The chants filled the air of the city. A red flag was raised and blew in the wind for everyone to see. The weather was sunny, and there was plenty of prosperity today.
There was no trace of yesterday\'s rainy weather. Morringan felt that it was Seth\'s doing. It was good that Seth helped her.
While the Morvos Shovayeleir guarded the road to the ceremony site, Morringan\'s soldiers walked behind them with discipline. This ceremony was also going to be used as a military show of force.
Half of the soldiers were here. Bernard led them while George rode ahead on horseback. Alongside George were Wilfried, Veronica, followed by Rachel and Richard.
The elderly man Lois was among the other carriages alongside Morringan\'s. Morringan saw that people were moved and saluted the soldiers.
The soldiers seemed pleased by this. The new military personnel were all young recruits. Since the old military personnel had been wiped out, Morringan was sure that all of them were nationalistic and Imperialistic.
The fact that the highest paid individuals in the Empire were soldiers also increased people\'s desire to join the Imperial army.
The presence of the younger blood brought Morringan some respect. After all, the old personnel were all elderly and middle-aged.
Some were overweight, even dressed like barbarians. But with the new regulations, the military uniforms were black and had a noble design.
"Long live Empress Morgana!" a chant was heard as Morringan finally arrived at the ceremony site. The site was the location of a grand Creation Cathedral.
The cathedral was white with subtle black accents, a gothic castle with cold, noble architecture. When Morringan asked Seth why this cathedral had to be like this, Seth had told her it would look pleasant.
And just as he said, it did look pleasant. The cathedral on the other side of the river was surrounded by finely detailed marble fountains and gardens.

Morringan got out of the carriage. As soon as she did, dozens of soldiers withdrew and cleared the way. The center of the road to the cathedral was empty, with people standing behind barricades on the sides.
After the military procession, the special forces would pass. Morringan then sat on her specially prepared small throne, and shortly after, the other ministers settled beside her.
This military ceremony also had religious significance. The military units would come here, swear an oath to the Creation God in a magnificent manner, and then depart.
"Are we ready?" Morringan calmly asked Veronica. Veronica and George were the main people organizing and setting up the ceremony.
"Yes, with your permission, we will begin," George said seriously. Morringan nodded and ordered them to begin. "Then I declare the ceremony to have begun!"
The people who were applauding Morringan patiently waited for the military procession to start. Shortly after, the sound of horses echoed across the field.
"General Bernard is here with the Cavalry!" Bernard\'s arrival was announced, and the people cheered. Bernard entered the ceremony site.
A group of nearly 200 heavily armored cavalrymen moved forward. They advanced in perfect harmony. As people admired them, George smiled. Wilfried, on the other hand, looked at Bernard with admiration.
Bernard had a calm expression on his face. Every now and then, he glanced at Morrigan, wondering what she was thinking. At the same time, he didn\'t want to miss the opportunity to make her proud.
"Stop!" Bernard commanded, and the cavalrymen suddenly halted. Then, Bernard turned to the Cathedral behind the expectant gazes of everyone. "I swear by my honor! My word and oath are my honor! My loyalty belongs to the Empire and the Empress, and my soul belongs to the Eternal and Almighty Creator God!"
Suddenly, the cavalrymen swore in unison, as if a symphony. "I swear by my honor! My word and oath are my honor! My loyalty belongs to the Empire and the Empress, and my soul belongs to the Eternal and Almighty Creator God!"
The people cheered for the soldiers swearing allegiance to the Creator God. Morrigan, with approval, looked at them. "I swear too, that I will reward your loyalty, and you and your descendants will live in prosperity!"
Afterwards, Bernard made one final salute and left. The cavalry was cheered again, and Morrigan gave orders for the next military unit to arrive.
"The Amazon Archers led by Commander Emily are here!"
Emily entered with around 500 armored female archers, and their armor immediately caught attention. It was the special armor of the Elves, given to Morrigan by Seth through Morvos.
The armor was black and red. Most of it was leather armor, made flexible for mobility. But what made this armor special was the Elf magic woven into it.
Thanks to this magic, the armor was highly durable. Its best feature was the speed boost and fire magic protection it provided. This made them exceptionally good.
The speed was not to be underestimated. It could almost triple the speed of an average person. Morrigan found the Elf magic intriguing. Perhaps learning it would be a good idea, but looking at the Elves\' personalities, it was clear that it was impossible.
"Stop!"
Just like the cavalry, the Amazons stopped in unison. Emily stepped forward and calmly addressed them. "I swear by my honor! My word and oath are my honor! My loyalty belongs to the Empire and the Empress, and my soul belongs to the Eternal and Almighty Creator God!"
Morrigan approved. Emily then issued another command, and the archers withdrew. People cheered, and some mothers even cried when they saw their daughters.
"Let\'s continue," Morrigan said quietly. Then, the announcement was heard again. "The Head Sorcerer and Master of Imperial Magicians, Archmage Lois, is here!"
Indeed, Morrigan had given Lois this position because she couldn\'t find a suitable magician. At least Lois had some talent and could do certain things in Dark Magic.
Morrigan would have preferred something better, but for now, Lois was the best she had. However, if Lois performed poorly, she could find someone to replace her.
The people were surprised to see a unit they had never heard of before, but they quickly started applauding with joy.
Lois stepped forward in a simple robe, followed by about 30 magicians. They were all actually Morvos magicians, but Seth had persuaded them to come here, and they had joined the Empire.
Morrigan knew that, although not all of them were strong, they were young magicians with potential. Seth had selected them from orphanages.
"Magicians, be ready..." Lois didn\'t shout like military leaders. Instead, she amplified her voice with magic. People were delighted to see magic up close for the first time.
The magicians stood still. Then, Lois swore seriously. Morrigan could feel the fanaticism in the man\'s emotions from here.
"I swear by my honor! My word and oath are my honor! My loyalty belongs to the Empire and the Empress, and my soul belongs to the Eternal and Almighty Creator God!"
"Your oath is accepted," Morrigan said calmly. "I hope the future of the Empire will be more secure with you."
Lois smiled proudly. Then, he stepped back, signaling the end of the military ceremony. Morrigan remained silent for a while. When she stood up, the other ministers took the cue and rose as well.
"Just so you know, my Lady," Thomas whispered calmly. "Today, the Divine Legate plans to bless you."
"Why wasn\'t I informed about this?" Morrigan said, trying not to show her surprise. Thomas smiled. "I wanted to surprise you."
Morrigan grumbled in displeasure, but there was a faint smile on her lips. It was nice that Seth was specially here.
"Alright," Morrigan said, ending her thoughts. "Let\'s go inside."
As they entered the Cathedral, most of the people remained outside, but their excitement remained. Although the Cathedral was large, it could only accommodate a portion of the crowd.
Morrigan took a deep breath. Then, she entered the Cathedral. Behind her, the ministers followed, and the ceremony reached its final stage.
